We Kan Drive provides an opportunity to remove barriers to obtaining a driver’s license for youth in foster care, as well as young adults that were previously in foster care that are receiving Independent Living Services through DCF. To qualify, youth must be between the ages of 14-21 and residing in one of the following counties at the time the referral is made: Allen, Anderson, Bourbon, Brown, Chautauqua, Cherokee, Coffey, Crawford, Doniphan, Franklin, Jackson, Jefferson, Labette, Linn, Marshall, Miami, Montgomery, Nemaha, Neosho, Pottawatomie, Shawnee, Wabaunsee, Wilson, and Woodson counties.
